Italy Fashion Vs. American Fashion

Many believe in the statement:"America gets it's fashion from Milan", well it isn't true. When I visited Italy I discovered it was the exact opposite. While window shopping in Italy, I noticed beautiful dresses, shirts, pants and tops all displayed in common colors of black, blue, white, red and some tan. Italians tend to dress the one color way, either it be a blue skirt and blue top white pants and white top or all black and accessorized with simple pearl bracelet or even a sterling silver wide bracelet. The Italian style sums up to simple but classy and chic.

America's style is very different, its all about Big, Bold and Color. Window shopping in America is like an invitation to walk in an shop and all because of the Big Bold and Color. When you see bright colored and beautiful outfits it makes one feel happy therefore one is definitely going to  want to experience such happiness by trying on that outfit or top or even a pair of pants and ending with purchase. The American style sums up to be a modern twist of the 80's style with two colors everywhere. And color block is an alternative flair. A normal outfit could be a pair of jeans and bright bold top accessorized with a  long chain necklace and a bright and bold bracelet.

Italian and American fashion are totally different though both styles are beautiful and unique and having  one common denominator: they both know how to dress. To round it up, Italy has a more simpler style with darker colors while America's style isn't plain but big, bright, bold and very colorful.

Which do you prefer?
